TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of The Reef’s website, online store, products, and related services.

The Reef is operated by Christchurch School. Throughout these Terms, “The Reef,” “Christchurch School,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the store.

By accessing the store, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the store or purchase its products.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state of residence to make a purchase.

If you permit a minor to use the store, you accept responsibility for the minor’s activity and purchases.

You may not use our website, products, or services for an unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

  1. Store Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, sizes, colors, availability, and other store information are accurate.

However, colors and product details may appear differently depending on photography, lighting, and device display settings.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update store information when necessary.

  1. Products and Availability

Products and quantities may be limited. We may modify or discontinue products without notice.

We may limit or refuse an order when we reasonably believe that it is fraudulent, unauthorized, intended for unauthorized resale, or otherwise violates these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.

  1. Prices and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in United States dollars.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and order totals will be displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide accurate and complete billing, payment, contact, and shipping information. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.

Submitting an order does not guarantee its acceptance. An order may be rejected or canceled because of availability, payment issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or other reasonable business concerns.

  1. Order Cancellations

Customers may request a full refund within 24 hours after placing an order.

If the order has not shipped, it will be canceled. If it has already shipped, the customer must return the item in its original, unused, unworn, and undamaged condition before the refund can be completed.

Customers are responsible for return-shipping costs.

  1. Shipping

The Reef ships within the United States, including to post office boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

Standard delivery is estimated to take 3–7 business days after processing. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed.

Shipping is subject to our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

  1. Returns and Refunds

Eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days after delivery, provided it is unworn, unused, undamaged, and otherwise satisfies our Return and Refund Policy.

Customers are responsible for return-shipping costs.

  1. Customer Accounts

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity conducted through your account.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create a fraud, security, or legal risk.

  1. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the store for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity;

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful material;

  • Attempt to access the store or its related systems without authorization;

  • Interfere with the store’s operation or security;

  • Use automated systems to scrape or copy store content without permission;

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;

  • Infringe another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights; or

  • Use our products or services in violation of applicable law.

  1. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the store and its content—including names, logos, photographs, designs, graphics, text, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Christchurch School.

You may use the store only for personal, noncommercial shopping purposes.

Store content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

  1. Third-Party Services

The store may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, delivery carriers, and external websites.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of independent third-party services.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s separate terms and policies.

  1. Reviews and Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate applicable law or another person’s rights.

You grant Christchurch School a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute that content for operating and promoting The Reef, subject to applicable law.

We may remove submitted content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the store and its services are provided on an “as available” basis.

We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Reef, Christchurch School, and their employees, trustees, affiliates, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from use of—or inability to use—the store, services, or products.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Reef, Christchurch School, and their employees, trustees, affiliates, service providers, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your material violation of these Terms;

  • Your unlawful misuse of the store or services; or

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights.

  1. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy published through our store.

Shopify and other service providers may also process information according to their respective privacy policies.

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the store if you materially violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or create a legal or security risk.

Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, indemnification, governing law, and disputes will survive termination where applicable.

  1. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Middlesex County, Virginia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on the store.

Changes become effective on the date stated in the revised Terms and apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

Your continued use of the store after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Christchurch School regarding your use of The Reef’s online store, except where a separate written agreement applies.
